There's been a few threads on mice and keyboards recently, so I thought I'd make a thread, as I'm curious as to what people use.
I'm using a Microsoft Intellimouse V2 - Wireless optical.
Has a pretty short range, I have to adjust the position of my receiver in order to use it on the other side of the room, but aside from that, it's great! Very responsive, comfortable as hell, the buttons on the side go Forwards and Backwards in browsers, and you can also map functions to them ingame. I'm using it on just my desk as a surface. Never really liked mouse mats, I always find myself going off the edge, no matter how big they are.
As for a keyboard I'm using the Saitek Eclipse V2.
Very easy to type quickly on, the wrist rest is at just the right height, and the media buttons in the top left are useful when listening to music in-game. Has three colours for the backlight (which is insanely bright) - Blue, Red and Purple. A slight OCD flaw is that the lights that represent Num, Caps and Scroll lock are always in blue, no matter what colour you select. The cable is very long, long enough to snake behind my monitor, down a hole in the desk and reach my computer below, with cable to spare. The wrist rest is detachable and adjustable, too.
All in all I'm very happy with what I've got, and I can't see myself getting anything else, lest one of them breaks. What's your setup?
