My brother has the sidewinder. I really don't like it, far too light and fragile.
G15 v2 and G9 v1. Love them both
That's what I was told. Filled it with the included weights, and presto. The fragility hasn't been an issue with it. I've packed it dozens of times to go to LAN parties and gigs, never had it suffer. In fact, the only problem is that the sweat from my thumbs has oxidised the side buttons a bit. Would buy again (especially since I got it for 50% off).Finray wrote:

I don't know why you guys would spend so much on a mouse and KB when someone who probably has the same setup I do is 100x better than you
I like the feel of the 518 and like the on the fly DPI changing in some games.
1800DPI when I'm piloting the chopper
1000DPI when I'm piloting the flyer
800DPI when I'm soling the chopper
800DPI when I'm piloting the runner
400DPI when I'm piloting the sniper
Sex.
I cba to arse around with on the fly.. much easier to do it once and for all in settings menu

I've never used a mouse pad.. i don't see the point unless your mouse glitches on your surface.

Depends on the surface of the desk you are using. If the surface is too reflective, it can interfere with an optical mouse. Also a surface that has a pattern to it (including some wood grain on a desk) can cause problems but altering the angle of the reflection as you move over the different colors. I have seen many optical mouse problems that have been resolved by using a solid colored mouse pad.tazz. wrote:

So depending on the surface you are using, a mouse pad may still be needed. But if yours works fine without one, then go for it.

I am not saying everyone needs one, but you should try a good one with a decent mouse and see how it feels. It is nice.

Yeah mine's already halfway there and I've had this desk for, what, 2 months?
razer tarantula and a qpad 5k I won.

steelseries are too rich, the steelseries UK guys were staying at the hilton in london for i-series.

I'm tempted to buy a roccat arvo, considering my current keyboard is a POS. quality over gimmicks, 52 euros, seems pretty good.
