I have always had a good ping, 50-75ish, and almost no lag in BF2, but for the last 2 weeks i have been getting a rediculous ping spike. It might stay in my normal range for the first little bit of gametime but then it starts to spike up to the 500ish area, even 700ish ping and back down again constantly for the rest of the day. I can by no means play in clan scrims/matchs with this lag. My system is relatively new and runs BF2 and all other new games easily, also I am using a router (D-Link, DI-604) but i have never had issues with the router in the past. I tried resetting the router and my cable modem but nothing seems to fix this ping spike. Any imformation as to how i can get my connection back to normal would be much appreciated.
