speaker noise while playing bf2 ?

Any one have any ideas how to get rid of the excess buzz sound while playing bf2 ? I have my sound routed through a stereo receiver unit from my hd lc TV which plays into my stereo speakers . The only time i have the problem is while playing BF2 or any battlefield video game . Other than playing video games , its like listening to your own personal surround sound system , Its great .

Might i need a filter between my digital television screen and the older analog pioneer stereo receiver ? I am puzzled .

Are you completely sure it's related to BF2? Issues like that are often bound to the sound card in the computer, but in such a case, there would be noise as soon as you put load on the computer; there'd be noise when you have other games running as well.

If that is the case, there isn't a whole lot you can do other than buy a sound card.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

well you could be right , when i do use my computer the speakers will pick up any scrolling , pointer movement .But it picks up the most noise while on video games . My receiver must be amplifying any slight load or movement computer related . It wasn't that way when i had them little computer speakers going .

Shit like that happens to me also, but funny it only happens on one map. Great Wall.

I don't know why, but there seems to be constant static in the background when I play that map. Maybe shit audio configured to simulate wind...

Well, that's pretty conclusive. You need a new sound card if you want to get rid of the noise.

The reason for the noise being louder when playing video games is that they load down your computer a lot. That puts more load on the power regulators for everything, which in return means they emit more electro-magnetic interference and other five-dollar words.

Well for what its worth I figure the sound card thats built into the circuit board isnt up to what I am running now so a sound card is on the way .
