yeah, it's freeware - peoples use it when we won't buy the Acrobat. it installs a printer, that's how it works.

Scenery... not much to speak of so far, haven't really had a good look around. Will tomorrow. Food... I dunno, you have to go to the right places. Haven't found a really good steak since Buenos Aires. Only tried three beers, the first is Quilmes, (kind of pronounced 'kill mes' for good reason.) It's the cheap piss. It's okay if you want to get pissed since it's cheap and comes in either 650ml or litre bottles, (unless you're a pansy,) and is about 10 pesos for the latter size depending on the place. It's Argentinean. My score: cheap piss-up/10
Second was Brahma which is pretty much the Brazilian version of Quilmes with a slightly better aftertaste, (this was for the 'chopp' brand, their main one and the only I've managed to get my hands on.) It's not as widely spread as Quilmes. My rating: not really worth the extra effort and pesos/10
The last I tried today, it's a beer called ''Salta'' so imagine it's from Salta, (where I am now,) and is the main drink of choice 'round these parts. It's actually pretty good, we're heading into the ''Ty would actually drink this beer'' kind of thing now. I've only tried the ''Rubia'', i.e. ''Blonde'', i.e. ''Lager'', but it also comes in a dark and lighter ale. Will have to give them a try. I paid 11 pesos for a 1 litre bottle today with lunch. Nice and crisp, good aftertaste, a solid contender in the mid-range beer market. My rating, (as previously mentioned,): Ty would actually drink this/10.

Don't get me wrong, I love the northern hemisphere despite your inability to see the Southern Cross at night, it's just that I don't head there all that often. Last time was in 2004 and good times were had but that was part of a school trip to the battlefields of Europe, a pretty whirlwind three week trip that really only acted as a tease than an appetiser. Since I am going to Ecuador I may actually quite literally 'step' into the northern hemisphere. My return flight to NZ goes through Miami and LA, my first step, so to speak, on US soil. Doesn't really count I know, I'm saving North America for my next big trip.
