i likey.... what about a case? stick with antec? i havent seen the gtx vid cards... are they a whopper like the 8800's are? I need a home for all these new parts
Cases are mostly just taste... find one with lots of air circulation (maybe 2 fans blowing in, one blowing out). The rest is just looks. I've alwasy gone with Lian Li but those cost quite a bit more than others.

i don't know that i'm ready to spend a good amount on a pretty case and separate power supply. i'm definitely a function over form kinda guy. what do you think about the combos here?

i always liked pc power PSU's.
i just bought a Newegg combo, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6817207002 + radeon 5850. i got the psu to go into a mac case.

the last case kcd linked would get destroyed in my dust bunny office
i think im going to get that blue fancy one from amazon. might as well get something that will last, and its full-size. add a power supply and i'm over my $150 budget, but this is something that won't need to be upgraded anytime soon i hope.

That's pretty much what I do every time I buy computer parts. I seem to spend about $50 more than I wanted to but in the end, I'm always happy with my purchase.steelie34 wrote:
