The point is that Snuggie 2.0 probably has a front opening as well, for "easy access",.. which makes it exactly like a dressing gown. Anyone who has ever had a proper dressing gown, and I mean a proper one: the kind you can take around the universe for several decades a la Arthur Dent, will therefore agree that the Snuggie, though comfortable, is a completely redundant product.
Aside from that: when do you most need your blanket? Correct, when you'r lying on the sofa with flu and severe stomach aches for several days. Now why are you lying on the sofa downstairs under a blanket rather than tucked in in bed or in a sleeping bag in a tent? Correct, because you have to jump up in case of an emergency, throw of your blanket or dressing gown and get to the toilet before you soil yourself and/or the diarrhea runs between the seams of your furniture. (...) Now imagine that with a Snuggie,..
