BF2S Forums I need the background dropped

Just a rough go, I'm sure someone else could do it better.

He used magic wand, but if you weren't lazy you'd zoom all the way in and use the polygonal select tool and go around the entire image meticulously to cut out the white. It would take a few solid minutes to do it all but you'd end up with a better output and virtually no white at all.

That, or, select the image surgeons posted in photoshop, contract it by 1 or 2 pixel, invert it, delete that outside 1 pixel border, that should get rid of the white, then select, contract and invert it again, go to blur>guassian blur and do about 0.5 worth of blur to smoothen things up abit

that's the trick I normally do

Right click on tools for various options

all right I figured out the magic wand part ..... clicked on the image and the box is highlighted and so is the object ... but I don't know what to do next ??



I also figured out the :

.......... after saving it, it asks about " none " or " laced " -- what does that mean

You can also mask using the channels. I like the Deke way.
