Am I the only one here who would love to liver forever? Like stop aging at the age of 21 and be immortal.

It would be awesome wouldn't it? Seeing things change over the years and getting to see how history unfolds.

Would you want to live forever?

Well, at least you were smart enough to put this in EE and not D&ST.

No, I would not want to live forever. Life would become so boring and dull and wouldn't mean anything anymore if you had til the end of time to do whatever you wanted.

Nah, you'd never have any friends that lasted, or wife/gf.

No not really. Imagine outliving everyone you have ever known, and their great grandchildren, and their great grandchildren. It would just be a life of heartbreak.

Mandatory Queen reference, the standard highlander one had embedding disabled.

I agree with the above points, it would only be good if you could grant eternal life to your friends / family and would forever have a young body in the peak of its health.

Says the guy that almost never makes threads. Good or fail.
You tried nothing, and are all out of ideas.

Harsh.

if I could stop aging at 24 or so, sure.

If I just keep getting older and my body just keeps getting worse... no fuck that.

@burnzz, what do you mean?
I suspect he means that life makes you tired.
It brings a mix of contentment and angst.

A life well lived is fulfilling and as one gets older it becomes understandable how the thought of peace seems appealing.
A short life well lived...would be worth trading for a long life lived poorly.

i see better today than i did at 24.  i don't need glasses now.

i am not going to fight the inevitable, and i'm not blindly accepting it either - i
do ok taking care of myself, see a doctor regularly, and try to be reasonable with my couple of vices.

would i want to be twenty one again? no, unless i know what i know now.
