Some movies look 100x better with grain though. Batman Begins Blu Ray was released with no grain at all and it looks ridiculous, everything looks smooth and sanded down, even faces. A third party encoder added a grain effect to it and it looks significantly better than the original. I think a Bourne type movie (The Green Zone) would need a grain effect to keep with the style of the movietazz. wrote:
