de-pressurization as in like when you're in the plane and whatnot right?
my ears were blocked before i even went onboard (due to sickness). Then they got worse and during decent they were hurting a lot. Then we had to board a connecting flight and it got even worse. mad painful

If it lost the pressurised air, you would be in trouble anyway, but your ears would be so fucked up.
Going down should always hurt more, because the pressure is outside trying to break through your eardrum

yeah, it was painful and they still haven't popped properly. everything was so quiet yesterday
If it's low pressure in your ears you can try forcing air in by holding your nose and trying to blow air out of it, you know, the thing scuba divers do.
