got an idear here

1st make them both destructable again

left click will simply throw it out like it is now

but right click, how ever, will bury the mine or hide the c'more
burying will take a good 30 seconds though, but will be completely invisible to everyone, cept your team
but allow only engineers on the other team to see them, and of course it would take another 30 seconds to pull it out

and hiding the c'more  would only take 10 secs, but you can only hide it against an object like a wall, or some other static object

keeping them visible though would deter people from traveling over certain paths
but hidden mines would probably get you a few more kills, obviously with at mines, as people dont want to give up their tanks

what do you guys think, yay? nay?

How would you hide an AT mine on the paved street?

I think it's a great idea. I always wondered why you could see the AT mines and claymores. It's not like that in real life. (yes, I know this is a video game). Claymores should also have a trip wire that you could set up like firing the zip line or something...just an idea. Maybe have every kit come with a mine sweeper so they'd have to be "using" that to see the mines/claymores.

I love this idea for AT mines but am not as sure for claymores.

AT mines are too easy for tanks to avoid, in general i think the game is too easy on tanks and could be balanced out with these.

Claymores have become very common since friendly-triggering was largely disabled making the job of a lowly ground-pounder that much harder. I don't think they need anything else stacked up against them.

how about this idea...

SPOTTING MINES - ive always wondered why u cant spot them so your team sees a warning tag and can stay away

The AT mine idea is a great one.  How are they gonna bury it on a paved street you ask?  Ask the Iraqi insurgents, they hide IEDs in the pavement of roads, and just patch it up after words.  I think it would be an awesome feature, because i dont usually have much luck with those.  Personally i think the claymores are easy enough to use, but thats just my opinion

yar, ok maybe not the claymores then, i just thought the 10 second delay to hide them would good to keep that sniper still and out in the open a bit

but really the game is too easy on the tanks, the ability to hide/bury at mines would be awesome

the only luck ive really had with at mines has been to throw them under empty enemy tanks or to run up behind them and throw them on top

back before 1.2 if i was pinned down behind a fence, i would throw a mine over it, and then throw a nade to make it splode
