Well I finished watching the series(last few episodes) 2 months ago and am still debating whether or not Tony gets whacked at the end. There seems to be so many clues foreshadowing his death but until I see it I don't buy it.

Yeah, especially if you take into account his talk with Bobby on the boat. "Everything just kinda goes black" or something like that. I think they left it open to interpretation also, let the fans decide for themselves what Tony's fate was.
