Attention Soldiers!
Although the 1.3 patch is still being worked on we wanted to provide a peek at what you can expect with the coming release:
NEW FEATURES
* Co-op: Co-op Mode allows you to play Single Player levels on the Internet and LAN with both AI controlled bots and human players. Several new options have been created that will allow the server creator to modify how the bots behave in game.
* Air dropped vehicles: Squad members can now send a request up the chain of command for a vehicle to be dropped at their location.
BUG FIXES & GAME PLAY TWEAKS
* Prevented ban list from being cleared in the event of a server crash.
* Fixed issue with players not properly ranking up on servers where they continuously play.
* Fixed bug where friendly vehicles show up as valid targets. * Friendly Vehicle lock: Lock-on weapons do not lock on to friendly vehicles. The box with an X through it will still appear, but a lock tone will not sound and then if fired, the missile will not track the friendly target.
Keep in mind this is only a part of what 1.3 will include. Our live team is working diligently to provide the best update possible in preparation for the release of the Armored Fury booster pack!

sure this was posted! sounds interesting. Co-op is a bad idea, especially on a ranked server. everyone will score decent. except for like privates.
might aswell legalize pistol only? way to go EA
other then that i do like the Vechicle drop feature. Not sure if many of you will "as it could be dumbing down the gameplay"

Air-dropped vehicles sound cool. Methinks that it will bring some new bugs and exploits, however. Although: If you squish someone with a drop, should you be credited with a kill?
I have serious doubts about the last two 'fixes'. I think that they will only be fixed partially, and it still will happen on a regular (if not as regular) basis.

This same thing has been floating around everywhere and I still don't trust the vehicle drop. It just doesn't make any sense. We'll see what ends up actually being part of the F-up... I mean patch when they finally release it.
I think they also forgot to mention that they are removing pistols from the game while leaving the pistol badge. EA FTL!

yeah i agree about the tanks and APCs there would be no infantry and if there was they would be getting squished

Just great another thing to get crushed by. A supply crate falling on my head will be the least of my worrys now. Now I can get crushed by a humvee, buggy and what ever else will be falling from the sky.
