So I was looking at this health-care shit and something isn't making much sense to me. Hopefully one of you math-tards or politi-tards can explain this to me.
So, I make $50,000 a year. Within a year I'll be making $60,000 a year, so lets go with that figure, 60k. My wife makes about 30k a year, combined, our household makes $90,000 a year.
Now, in Obamacare, they figure up how much you get via the universal heath-care by what you make in direct correlation with the FPL, or Federal Poverty Level. So, I looked on wiki and found what the FDL for a 2 person household is and it said $14,570.
So my household makes roughly 620% the FPL?
So the breakdown of the bill says that households making above 400% of the FPL will only get 70% of the bill covered. Which means I have to pay the other 30% as long as it does not go over $5,000?
This makes no sense.
So my first question is: Am i doin it rite?
Second question is: Who the fuck only makes $14,000 a year? I could make more than that mowing lawns, working at McDonalds or selling beads to old ladies in front of a truck stop.
Third question is: This is retarded. I am by no means rich, I live paycheck to paycheck and struggle myself with my bills and debts and to provide for my family, but under this shit I'm considered wealthy?
This seems to me to be a bailout for people to lazy to get off their asses and work an honest days work. The same type of people that are on welfare, workers comp, unemployment, food stamps and other bullshit but live better lives than the people that pay for this shit. I've been on unemployment before, I lost my job, I got on unemployment and got off as quick as possible when I found a job, I know what it's there for and I understand it's purpose.
On the same hand however, I now work in a position where I see how it's abused as I have to fight peoples unemployment and workers comp on behalf of my company and let me tell you, I've seen only 2 cases where the person deserved either and I've shot down about 25 attempts of other people to get it. People come here and get a job, stay a week and leave for no good reason and file unemployment against us the next week. Or they purposely hurt themselves to get workers comp, or worse yet, move from company to company getting hurt on purpose so they can pull permanent disability. Shady motherfuckers. Fucking scumbag bottom feeders if you ask me. AND THESE ARE THE PEOPLE THIS HEALTH-CARE SHIT IS GOING TO BENEFIT THE MOST.
These fucking lazy motherfuckers, these bottom feeding scum bag, dopey ass, trashy living rodents will be getting the good life once more while hard working people like my family and I will get the least coverage and pay the most taxes on it. Fuck this shit. It should be the other way around, let the goddamn poor people die off and reward the richer upper classes for actually contributing to society and making something of themselves. Let the people to lazy to work live like someone of similar values would have lived 200 years ago, IN A FUCKING DITCH, covered in mud and shit and starving to death because they are too goddamn stupid to find a trade and feed their family.
