I'm serious.

I'm willing to overclock.

and future-proofing is not a big deal for me, I don't really care whether I can run Crysis/WiC at 60 FPS or not...

All I want to do is play Source Games on high settings and BC2 on medium. Any ideas?

Well I'd imagine you could pick up a pre-owned 8800GT or something near to that level for about that money, maybe a new one, not looked tbh. FYI 8800GT is about the minimum you'll be able to run BC2 at medium with (I know I'm running one )

EDIT: Or ^that^ 4850 would do just fine

I would grab the 4770 - when over-clocked with ATi overdrive (click - click and your done easy) it is slightly faster then the 4850 while having lower heat and power consumption.
