Have any of you ever had a really dirty keyboard then decided to put it in the dishwasher?

I did.

It works like a charm! Stick it in the dishwasher with your next load and let it dry for a day. It works surprisingly well.

I wouldnt recommend it for expensive keyboards but the cheap ones will survive.

It's all washed off and dried. You dont even notice it.
