I did not say peopel should not have cars, i'm saying people should use more public transport system. Take rome for example, the city is unbarable with all the traffic because everybody uses their cars to go to work/school/shopping everysingle day.

Why should I take a bus that takes 1 hour to get to location A (Including walking time to bus stop, waiting etc) when it takes 20 minutes by car.

aye.  it takes me 15 minutes to drive downtown to my bar.  takes about an hour on the light rail...not to mention all the weird people on it.

if everybody in the city did that no wonder you have traffic everywhere. I know people who live close to the center and it takes them 15 minutes to take the metro to come to uni, instead they take their cars and it takes them 30 minutes through traffic and plus 10 minutes to park the car. Tell me, what is  the reasoning behind that?

Then they are fucking stupid? I'd take whatever transport which takes me from point a to point b the fastest.

i use the light rail when i fly or go to a ball game.  i mean, it takes me about 7 minutes to drive to the train station anyway.
