I saw something odd this weekend, looking for comments. Ran a search before posting but didn't get any on point results.
Playing MEC as sniper defending Suburbs flag. Set up some claymores on the back traffic areas around the houses where US will often make a run for the suburbs on foot. Then set up shop on the roof of a low building well south of the flag to wait for the lemmings. All of a sudden I see 3 Marines crest the highest point of the hill that I have no idea how they could walk over.
Let me be more specific. From the US perspective you have the left artillery spawn point. To the north of that is the alley that leads to the walkable slope and the road that leads to the Suburbs. Immediately to the left of the alley is an extremely steep hill that I've never seen anybody walk on without sliding off. In theory, and obviously in practice at least for these guys, if you could walk along this hill at the edge of the map you pop out overlooking the house at the top of the walkable slope, giving you an element of surprise.
Well I was surprised but managed to wax all 3 marines regardless. This group was relentless and kept coming over that damn hill again and again and eventually got me.
Anyone else ever see this exploit? How is it pulled off?
