Ok, my dad sent a resume to a company in Microsoft Word.  The recruiter told him to send the resume per the request below.  This is the request:

Please attach a copy of your resume in MW of PDF format.

So what does that mean?  Did she mean Microsoft Word or PDF?  And if that's what she meant, why did she email him back asking to send the resume per request.  Is it because he sent it in Word 2007?

Send her a bunch of formats and let her take her pick.

It's a good idea to email resumes, cover letters, etc. in .pdf format so that anybody could read it.

I use this: http://www.primopdf.com/index.aspx

I print using PrimoPDF instead of choosing a printer, and it makes a pdf file.

Office 2007 is a compatibility shitfest. Pdf it.

PS If you rely on any VBA code/macros behind MS Access, MS PowerPoint or MS Excel then DO NOT upgrade without thorough testing beforehand.

I know what a PDF is.  It's just that she worded it "in MW of PDF format."  That's not a typo by me.

Because Microsoft Word is a fucking program, not file format.
There's .doc, .docx and .doc's don't all behave the same

There was a bug in MS Outlook 2007 (now fixed) where files weren't attaching properly I think. Could this have been it?

"in MW of PDF format" makes no logical sense.
