So i've been trying and trying to get this and just cant whore mines/claymores/c4 enough to make it happen who has the best strategy for this badge. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
I know a lot of people got it when you were able to hop and toss C4, now, I have no idea.
Well, I don't have mine but it is alot more difficult now that you can't c4 chuck. I say, if the server alows it, jihaad all the way.
See thats the thing. I got my veteran after the patch where they nerfed jumping and throwing stuff. So I mean i know it can be done. Just cannot find a server that has alot of people and slow tickets on it lol Has to be a spot on a map a "choke point" or something that is just awesome.
Claymores are ure best chance i think. The alleyways on Karkand are great.

Get on a 16-20 player server and claymore the flags. It's hit or miss. Took me 3 months before I got mine.

im trying to get this aswell via clays as i enjoy the sniper unlock sf. only trouble is the bitchin you receive about claying flags.
I gave up on that stuff. I am happy with what I have and just play to kill the enemy. To be honest, I should have done from the start.
3 things: 64 player map, 16-20 player max, claymores that dont kill teammates

Just be sure to put down those clay`s so they are least visible.
Going into the 3rd floor flag at the palace at Warlord and hide the clay`s behind the door facing the flag, this way u also cover the two doors from the balcony incase they come in from the roof.
And like many others have pointed out, have a supplydude nearby, its crucial - ask when u join the server if a supply can join your squad - have gotten a good supplydude many times.
And if u care about your teammates tell them what your up to, so they`ll keep out of blastradius, nothing more irritating than having a dedicated teamkiller on your heals when going for the badge.
I shared my plot two nights ago going for the badge and where i was but still managed to get stalked by a teamkiller feeling unjust because he was in the wrong spot when an enemy ran in the door.
He followed me, cursed at me over voip, killing me 5 - 6 times, he even joined my squad as support only to deny me ammo when needed - he ended the round with a shitty score and a dry mouth, i ended the round with 41 claymorekills, expert explosives ordinance badge,13 flagdefends and a bronzemedal

well i got my expert explosive when it was possible to c4 chuck
well they only disabled the jump throwing part
so if you know how to fast detonate the c4, it's still quite effective
but to get 35+ kills with it.. i'm not so sure what to do now.. that's why i tried so hard to get it before 1.2 heh

LMAO the way i got mine was go into a 64 man server and run towards the US spawns laying both claymores down and then run into enemie fire get kills and deaths but sometime you kill like 4-5 people at a time.

Unfortunately to get this badge you need to be a total whore (Which is why I don't have expert). I would suggest a combination of Claymores on the Place and TV station of Warlord, and then supplement those kills with some Jihad Joe manuevers on the ATV's.
I qualify for the Expert badge, but have had a hard time getting even my Vet. badge due to the C4 bug.
I have tried several differant maps with combinations of C4, clays and minds. Still have not been able to get it!

for vet i claymored on sharqi between survailence poist and city entrance. Its a killer spot MANY people run through it took me all of 15 min to get that badge lol.. Expert is a whole different story.-=S8M=-Phoenix wrote:

i got mine about a month ago on karkand with clays. its possible but u cant be scared to tk during it. just tell ya team mates at the start that its an accident and not to punish.
I read somewhere on here that the easiest place to get that particular badge is on knife and pistol only servers. I don't even have the basic explosive badge so you know I am a newbie with that lol. Good luck with that.Dtrich-]X[ wrote:

I got mine this weekend, on a 64 person Karkand server with about 20 people in it. Squads were mandatory on the server, so there were 2 main 6-person squads that I kept going after. I only used C4. Lure people around corners and plant it on the wall when you turn (vs. the floor, or else they'll see it). I got 3 at a time at some points with that. Oh, be MEC. When the US takes the hotel, c4 the top and bottom of the stairs and you'll get 4 or 5 people, when they rush out after they take the flag. If you see the US start to go for the upper-left flag (the name escapes me), Suicide or die and respawn there and C4 up the vodnik and park it in front by the flag. Wait on top of the building. Dead babies.
Once again, you have to go for squads and use the UAV as best as you can. You also can't be afraid to kill yourself or get teamkills, the badge should be your only aim! I got 33 kills that round and there was 70 points left to go before I started bringing out the G36 (I don't have 300 kills global, so expert was a no-go regardless). Just be patient and plan out what to do in your head.
BTW, C4-ing snipers is just about the best thing there is to do in this game
Definatly Claymores and c4 are the way to go. Got mine with a bunch of claymores, a bunch of Jihad and random c4 traps, and a couple AT mine kills. Thought i go for it all

I got my recently, and I must say that it's a BITCH TO GET!! I did it on Karkand, with claymores, on a 64 person server with about 20 people playing. I thought it'd be easier, but predicting which flags enemies would go to, resupplying, and surviving armor columns make it harder than you'd think. My advice if you're gonna use claymores: Be ready to pick up support or sniper kits to resupply.
Otherwise, I'd say, try to use C4/AT Mine combination on a 64 server with low player numbers, if you're going the Karkand route.
My friend just got his recently too, and he got it on Warlord, defending the TV Station with claymores. Unfortunately, he got it more from persistant enemy attacks, though. If they hadn't kept trying to get in, it'd probably been a lot more difficult

I've come really close several times on Warlord and was on a great string on Karkand. The problem is when things turn against you.
On Warlord, you want the intra-Palace battle to be going on. Better if you've got the 3rd floor flag though it can still vary based on the skill of your team vs. theirs. In general, I prefer having the 3rd floor. It's a quick drop down off the balcony and a run and hop to the 2nd floor balcony. Just hope they haven't clayed it in defense (or someone else triggers it before you). I'm always happy to let others go first and see if they blow up. After that, I run in, drop my prizes and figure out what to do.
If you don't have a Support buddy giving you loads of ammo, either grab sniper kits off dead snipers or grab a support kit to throw yourself some ammo and switch back. I actually racked up a bunch of clay kills in a row last night doing this. No respawn wait time, no having to get set back up in a good spot. You're ready to go.

16 player server, 64 player map ("big score servers") with FF turned off. Take Spec Ops and C4 people. You can run up to them, lay C4, and blow it up before they can get away. Rounds usually last about an hour, so that's less than 1 kill a minute. Often, you'll get 2, 3, or 4 people by pre-C4ing a transport and waiting for it to fill up.
