To make us engineers feel better about ourselves, in the mandatory ethics class they kept telling us that we're professionals, just like lawyers and doctors, and need to be super ethical to go along with it.

im taking two prelaw classes that each meet once a week.  there are 8 briefings due for each class and the briefings have to be at least a page long.   I guess practice is the goal

Yeah that's true. Starts off tedious and annoying, but by the end you've got it down and they're really not a problem. Hah, sometimes I/you even get interested in the topics and instead of having to write the papers, you get to write them Their brainwashing is effective.

I was real sick of studying and school and all that. But now I'm sort of missing it. Now I'm looking for a real job and can't get one and it's fucking annoying so I'm just stuck at home doing nothing.

At least in school you can keep busy and got plenty to work on, and can be productive. Never thought I'd say this, but I miss learning

yeah same place I was in lol then went back for masters now kind of like WTF lol so much work hahahaha or more work than undergrad

I want to, really really want to. Would love to. It'd be nice to go to school and learn what I really want to learn about. And I plan to get it eventually.

But right now I don't have the money, and don't want to get into major debt, and I'd also like to get a few years of real-world experience first, even get the company I'd be working for to pay for it. Except I can't find a job to get that money Just gotta keep looking... ugh.


Oh and UCLA, high standards, heh. Even I got in, I'm sure you'll have no problem. I applied on a whim, just for the hell of it. Didn't have above a 4.0, no extra curricular shit, no clubs or honor roll or student council. Guess they figured they needed to add some run-of-the-mill kids to set the curve lower.
