TV missile glitches...

Just want to know if this happens to anybody else...
Whenever I gun for a chopper pilot and we see another helicopter (mainly other attack choppers), he lines me up and I fire.Now, I'm not a bad gunner but every one of my shots has to hit the tail of the chopper because even if it is a good missile shot to the cockpit or body, the missile proceeds to go right through it and won't register a kill and the chopper wont blow up, which extremely pisses me off... Does it happen to anybody else or would it be a shitty comp problem or anything else?

I've noticed a lot of shots "going through" the chopper. It usually seems to happen under the rotor blades for me.

It happend to me all day yesterday, i was in a jet fired 2 missiles at the chopper, no flares or nefin, went straight through juz below the rotorblades. like u cablecopulate. must b a problem

at least yours are going through - half the time im double clicking and the missile flies straight....

pre last patch (when tv's were perfect) i still had a lot of thru n thru's

i've had problems with tv's misfiring since last july. about 1 in 5 goes straight and maybe 1 in 3 takes > a minute to load. it's gotten a lot worse since 1.2, but it's always been a problem.

thankfully they added the tail thing in 1.12, before that it was hard as hell to hit them anywhere

i think this is known bug

and another annoying-as-fuck bug is where your TV just won't fire.
it's fully loaded and even if you click like 20 times, it doesn't do shit

but sometimes, it's more gay because it just won't get reloaded.
you fire one, and when gauge is suppose to charge up, nothing happens.

it takes like freaking 30 sec for it to finally load up.. wtf?

its because EA is full of shit and likes to break things instead of fix them, mainly in regards to helicopters and jets

Had this problem a few times as well, hear gunners getting very pissed off saying there missile went through. The first time i heard it i thought they were just being a bad sport but its very true

I've also had this problem with AT missles passing through tanks/jeeps...doesn't happen that often but it has happened.

Co-Op is a waste of time. that time they could use to fix some nasty bugs...but now its like this:

Yes I will guide the missle into the side of say a Blackhawk, and it will go straight through it. so yes I usually aim for the tail for the Heli more asy that way for me anyways now that im used ot it.

Most of the time its goes through but the other day was funny i killed the pilot with tv missile but it did no damage to chopper

I'm not sure it is a bug, each time it happens i hear a strange sound like a "pschiit", it could be on purpose to mimic a missile malfunction. I think we need more precision on this from EA/Dice.
Since the original release of the game, i've always seen problems with collision detection.

Im not talking about malfunctions while firing, my missile is fine coming off of the chopper, the problem is when i guide it through another chopper if i hit the body it will go through, so i have to hit the tail

Yes I've seen it once or twice.

But the DUMBEST i've seen so far was when the missile ran out of range right in front of the chopper, and blew the gunner out the gunner died from the explosion and the pilot flew off.

when me and my friend go off in the attack chopper i allways fly, but when he goes to lauch a TV it NEVER fires unless he bash's his mouse then it will launch 5 secs later, so annoying

I get it all the damn time. It's one of the most annoying things about this game and especially when it goes through more than once, or goes through a jet. You really killed them fair and square but they turn around and own you. -_- If they don't suck obviously.

i heard you say you missed or rather didnt with a missile earlier today, i cant say i have had much of a problem with it but i dont play chopper much any more. what annoys me is when missiles from the jets go through the blackhawk, i cannot hit them for sh*t.

LGMs getting stuck is another stupid bug.
