I'm not stupid for driving at 80km an hour on a rural fucking road with a 60km/h speed limit.

The only reason the legal speed is at 60 on my road is because it's sitting just inside the town boundary. _{Literally, the town boundary runs up one side of the road, making it 'urban' even though it's 2.5km long and only has around 10 properties with frontage to the road.}

I've meet a few people who have won tons of money in AC and the what not. What usually ends up happening to these people, is they end up getting fucked by the government like a criminal. As soon as that big payday hits, they don't handle the money right and end up with major tax problems.

Dude I know won something like 300k in AC, now a winning that big they pay out the same as the lottery. Either a hugely taxes lump sum or a annunity over time. Guy didn't do taxes right, ended up owning the IRS over the main winnings and had to sell off his remaining winning at 30c on the dollar. So you spend 1 dollar and make 50 million, you better make sure that 50 million is done by the books, or it's going to end up costing you(your freedom)..

I never played the lotto in my life but Hurri's logic isn't unreasonable. 1 or 2 dollars every once and awhile with the chance of winning small to very large payouts isn't a retarded waste of money. As for the taxes; not really a huge problem considering even half of a large payout like the Mega millions, which is at 90 million right now, is still enough to retire on.

That doesn't really make it a 'stupid tax' though. In the UK doing 90-100 is reasonably common place on the motorways, but they're not making it any more dangerous unless it's really busy.

I use to work on the lotto machine from ages 11 up until a few months ago when I quit. Every single person I have dealt with that was a regular had some menial job and High School Diploma/GED at best. And only half spoke English(if you could call it that). It was sad seeing people lose 90% of what they had on them.
