I remember back when I bough my current phone - which is a Samsung i780 Smartphone i bought for all the advanced features - normal mobile phones were sleek, good looking & made of delicious materials such as Aluminium & Rubber coating...
I take a peek in to the manufacturers sites to see what models are available because I'm considering changing my phone for a simple one... Don't get me wrong all the nice features of WinMo are neat... But now I've tried it, and I really don't need it in my phone...
Today however... All the manufacturers seem to have jumped the band wagon and gone huge screen + touch... Where as Candybars & Clamshells look like they were designed by 3 year olds with crayons...
Anyone suggest some models for me? I like the samsung Soul B for it's delicious aluminium casing, but it's abit outdated today...
It must have a camera. A 3.5mm jack audio is a big plus and Delicious materials are wanted aswell (no plastic HTC crap)
I cannot be a Hugescreen+Touch config nor can I be bothered with sliders (they break too often)...
The only phone I've managed to find that I kind of like, is the Nokia 2730 Classic
But the fact that it only supports 2GB micro SD puts me off a little
And I doubt that keypad is actual aluminum and not just plastic alu-look-a-like...
I'd prefer a clamshell design over candybar.. but clamsheels today look horrible and are rare
The one I like the most is probably the Samsung S5510
But having owned a non-winmo samsung phone... I'd prefer Nokia's Symbian OS over the semi-crap one on low end samsungs..
