Very true it can also be incredibly fun, especially in a squad on VoIp or with friends on teamspeak, defending suburbs after sneaking around to get it can be very rewarding. I think some of the most fun i've had in this game is defending a point against relentless attack while communicating with a squad. different map, but i have good memories of myself and 4 friends on TS defending south island on songhue with AT kits for the entire round against continuous APC and tank assault.superfly_cox wrote:
i go for the win. for instance, if i've got the tank as MEC and i'm at the hotel and i see a humvee on UAV outflanking us, i'll follow them all the way back to our base to make sure we defend it cause i know nobody else will. you can get a surprising number of points by defending a key flag cause they'll keep coming at you and you just mow em down. i'm surprised more people don't try defending key flags...easy kills...more wins.
they only need 1 flag to stop bleedingvoltage wrote:
I recall games on Karkand where US won by sheer killing, without capping a single flag. How many flags does US need to take before they stop bleeding? It's not that many is it?
