What should I replace it with?  I was thinking the Nvidia 260...
I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something.  - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.

the gtx 260?  i just bought one and it took me forever to find someone who actually had one new.  i'm very paranoid about buying used hardware, so good luck if you can get your hands on one.  i like mine so far, bc2 is smooth as butter.

If you're thinking GTX 260 price range, go for a 5770 instead. The performance difference is minimal, the 260 outperforming the 5770 by 2-5% at the most, whilst performing a lot cooler, quieter, and with DX 11.

iirc you're one of the older generations on the forums? In which case you could drop some srs dough into something, amirite? In that case you might want to look at either the 5850 (burnzz has one, he loves it) or spend a bit more for the 5870. As for brands, look into HIS, XFX, Sapphire, or Powercolor if you want to save a few bucks.

I've got an XFX 5770, it's fantastic and for me the price:performance ratio is near close to perfect. Can play the games I want on high settings, didn't cost me an arm and a leg to do so.

Course, if I had a lot more money to spend I'd have gone for a 5870, but that's well over double what I spent on a 5770.

Hmmm.. 5870 looks to be discontinued...
