First of all i'm tired of the lack of teamwork, YOU have to adjust to what OTHERS do in order to make a winning game which sucks when you are a commander and nobody listens but only expect YOU to read the game, living up to expectations. So there you are laying down totaly open for a knifing if the opponent gets his mind to it when you could just listen to peoples requests and be a part of the actions too. Ofcourse you could take a "knife-horny" opponent out yourself in that occassion but that could be the opponents intent since you will be busy for putting up UAV's etc. But maybe that's how it's supposed to be. Anyway...!
Are you also tired of beeing a kickass chopper pilot, tank-driver or aviator-ace and noobs steal your "babies"?
To get rid of this problem a bit I suggest there would be 3 kinds of servers to join.
1.) The ordinary one. No rank. No global unlocks. Just knock yourself out in an orgy of killing for what I care.
2.) Training servers. This is where you earn your medals and ribbons BUT you will gain NO points to get higher ranks or weaponunlocks. No usage of such weapons even if you have unlocked them.
3.) This is where it's all about being SERIOUS. To keep the "noobs" out that ruins it for those who are all about beeing serious. You are beeing given different priorities like when you apply for the commander position. Since people often find the need to TK just to get a noob out of the vehicle that you so much desire this is what I suggest. If you approach a vehicle at the same time and EVEN if the noob in the question already have entered the vehicle he will be kicked out if the "expert" tries to enter it, so the server notice if you have earned points/medals/ribbons due to (for example) helicopter-usage thus you will gain priority access to those vehicles. Since not all vehicles stand still for a short time once you've pressed the gas-pedal the better pilots/drivers wont make it in time. To fix this you could have a new interface similar to the radio-commands which senses the vehicle you are approaching and this interface is a queue kind if interface where you apply to use the vehicle which locks it to you for a couple of seconds if you have more medals/ribbons/points than the other applicants. And if you have goten tired of using it you will be automaticaly unlocked if you haven't been using that vehicle for 20sec since the last respawn of a new vehicle. If it's an existing one that you've landed for example it'll take 30sec.
Stats padding!
Stats-padders have one weakness, PATIENCE!. If you've been in a helicopter in the 2.) and 3.) server for a longer time it will be more valuable even if you have the meddal, which is what i think should be added more due to gaining medals, so even if you have medals it's the time that counts. I like the meddals as they are now but now that there is stat-padders it's hard to have bragging rights of the expert-knifing medal for example ^_^. So either use patience against the padders or you can easily do this: Whenever a person is revived the killer does NOT acquire his kill-point, shouldn't be that difficult since you don't gain a "death-point" when you are revived the only weakness is that you gain your kill only when it's deffinite which could be hard for the server to define in comparrison to your death-stats since they are only added when you have respawned somewhere, BUT I believe it's totaly doable since we have such fine programmers at EA-games .
NOW FEEDBACK EVERYONE!
