Just bought a SyncMaster p2250 today since my other LCD just died out. Problem is it is widescreen. When i try to Run bf2 screen goes black for like 2 seconds (probably trying to sync reso) and then it returns to desktop. A.k.A Fail.
Tried that command:
"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1.15 +widescreen 1 +szx 1920 +szy 1080
DID NOT WORK.
I am Operating Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. and 2x 9600GT SLI'd. Would appreciate some help. I updated all my drivers, still wont work. I read somewhere some 1 had it working on a syncmaster p2250. so yeah. no idea whats up
UPDATE:
I actually managed to GET INTO THE LOG IN PAGE. BY EDITING THE VIDEO.CON FILE SO IT SUITS THE NATIVE RESO FOR THE MONITOR, BUT THEN ONCE I PRESS LOG IN, IT CRASHES TO DESKTOP...........LAME. i WAS SO HAPPY ONCE I GOT INTO HE LOG IN PAGE I THOUGHT I WOULD BE ABLE TO PLAY.
UPDATE SOLVED!!!!!!!!:
Solution=the previous profile had a setting which the monitor did not support. Edit the Video.con profile to ur monitors native reso, and all should be sweet.
