In the past, i made a thread about how to change the localization files so that you get different messages when killing someone like "you owned that b@stard".

Now, my next problem:
In BF2v, i cant change SF weapons' and Euro force weapons' kill messages.

I cant get SF weapons' kill messages in SF.

So you need to edit the files in the sf folder rather than that bf2v folder?

i believe SF localization is under the file name "xpack"

For BF2: English.utxt
For SF: xpack.utxt
For EF: mappack.utxt (or mappacks.utxt, you can figure it out)

I only changed the localization files in the bf2v mod folder, and it works in SF. Don't know what's going on there for you.

Thx for the EF part.

I made a typo in my original post. I can make SF weapon kill messages appear in SF, but not in BF2v.

hey guys. ive eddited my bf2 file and also some of the sf file but in sf its not done anything. everythings the same. CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE? actually its not working in normal BF2!!!
