A quick question regarding revives

Hi all, been a long time since I've been here.

Anyway after recently getting into BC2 and having not played BF2 in ages Ive been stuck trying to remember a detail which im currently arguing with on another forum.

Specifically, can you make it such that a team mate can not revive you? When I played I remember that if you were critically wounded (not killed) if you simply opened up the spawn screen and either selected a spawn point/didnt select any point (one of the two) you became unreviveable so you could basically force yourself to suicide anywhere and get a vehicle respawn without risking getting revived.

At least thats what I remember... Is that actually the case at all? Is there anything you can do to stop people reviving you?

Can I get a few more confirm/denies? Just because I'm trying to put forward an argument and I need as much back-up as I can get lol

That is a myth. You can always get revived unless you get killed (not wounded) or you get stuck in an obstacle. If you dont want to get revived you have to press the suicide button on spawn/squad screen

and as far as I know you can't suicide while wounded

Unless they changed it, you can.

You can't suicide while getting statpadded because the screen goes away quicker than the Suicide button "animates" and is clickable.
