So here's the story....my parents computer was acting up with the internet because it's on a wireless and they wanted to see if it was just the wireless acting up or the internet on the computer. So i took my computer out and put theres in the place mine was but used the same monitor. The color when that one was plugged in was fine as well as one other computer I used to use. However when I plug in my main PC the monitor only displays green. I've included a picture to show just what's going on but idk if it will show the color change. Basically i've narrowed it down to 3 things.

A) The monitor is fucked which I don't believe is the case because it was working fine with the other computer.
B) The cord is fucked, this one could actually be because of all the plugging and unplugging I did something could have gotten damaged.
C) The Video card is fucked, I sure hope it's not this because that would cause many problems I just don't feel like dealing with.

So any advice?

Umm, take a picture with a camera instead of a screenshot? Looks normal to me...

Have you checked the colour settings with the buttons on the monitor?

Yeah and everything is what it was at before everything went to hell. I dont think plugging a new computer into a monitor can change the settings in it.

Have you plugged your parents computer back into the monitor? If not, do so and see if it's now green on your parents computer. Err, or whatever, your story is confusing, plug both computers in and see if the problem happens to both.

A friend of mine had a similar issue - check the cable connection ends for any bent pins, and use a tweezer to bend them back straight.

Make sure the cable is plugged right in, if it's VGA. A loose connection makes for discolouration.

I think I found the issue!!! When I moved the monitor a little to the left the color came back and was normal so I'm thinking it has something to do with the cable. Possibly a frayed wire in the it so I'm going to get a new one hehe

It's usually a faulty cable or connector.

Fiddling as in moving the cable around until the picture goes back to normal.

Surely that's cheaper and easier than buying a new cable.

Did you even try my fucking suggestion? I'm tired of posting shit to help others when no one bothers to try it.

What was the fucking point of this thread? To inform us that your cable doesn't work?

I think in all likelihood the issue is with the cable.
