The only thing that could be seen as enjoyable was the visuals. The plot was beyond predictable and boring. It had more holes than your mother. It could have kept my interest throughout if it had been a short, but for some reason they decided to drag it on for 3 hours, and do nothing a short couldn't.

I watched it for enjoyment and got none.

anyway, seen Avatar just now.

Graphics were pretty nice I thought(watching in 1080p/blu ray), story wasn't new I guess, natives fighting for their land etc, but it had a nice feeling to it.
the end was pretty predictable, but I guess the ending the emotional types under us would want anyway . so I guess a

Surrogates: 6/10, mildly entertaining, didn't think the action scenes possible with the surrogates were played up enough, nor were the plot twists. Interesting idea but not nearly ambitious enough.

Got this out of the library the other day and couldn't stop laughing at how completely unalarmed people were when the aliens started shooting things up. Or for the fact that the people killed more people than the aliens did.

You dont consider that entertaining? I found it astounding, the floating mountains, flying on the dragonbirds, even the forestry was alive and incredible. However, yes, I would say Speed Racer is just as good as Avatar in terms of use of CGI, just in a different way.

The plot was typical. Pretty much every basic storyline has been done before, you could apply that edited image of a storyline (you all know what I'm talking about) to probably 75% of movies. The Last Samurai had the exact same plot and it was still a great movie...

Avatar's visuals were meh, and "plot" was a snoozefest. The acting was miserable, and it lacked any qualities that could have hoped to make it a quality feature film. insert comparison to philosopher. In the past 10 years, the only movie worse than avatar that I have seen was Titanic.
