ok, playing sharqi on my clans server yesterday, not long into the game and i was commander on the americans, after putting a uav down and scanning, i saw no1 had gon towards the mec chopper. so i told my clan mates to go and steal it, as it can be quite usueful if ther are no other choppers around. anyway, i wasnt looking at the chat boards, but apparently, this was happening alot:

This was my screen wen i was MEC, i just thought every flag was being blocked but obviously not. Most people were getting this and most couldn't spawn. so then, the geatest thing happened, we got shot by an AT missile, i was in the havoc with me m8, and we wer just getting repaired from no where!

But, cos we dont believe in cheating, we reset the server, but think of the score we could have got!

any1 else had anything like this?

Uhm, the red spawn points are usually shown when there's an enemy capturing it, aren't they?
But of course it's paradox to see nearly every flag being captured at exactly the same time..
As well the repair bug is known, although I noticed it only for commander tools so far.
Maybe it's more the server which was temporarily "bugged" than the game itself..

Sorry, what am I look at in the screenshot? The red spawn points? I've never this happen.

Edit: Did they stay red all the time? I've seen maybe only one red spawn point but all of them, nope.

No i't means that some1 is standin on the spawn pointor or a vehicle is blocking it

Sometimes right when you join the game, you see some pretty funky shit on the screen. For example, occasionally my radar will show about 100 red dots that blink, then disappear. Sometimes on the spawn select screen every spawn point is replaced by this weird icon that looks a little bit like the Explosives Ordinance Badge for a second or so before the regular clickable dots appear.

And last but not least was the squad leader who got team switched (this isn't supposed to happen...maybe he chose to team-switch voluntarily), but was affected by the red-name bug. So he was on our side, but showed up with a red name and on the radar, he was a big red "2" because apparently, he was leader of the Bravo squad...I would have taken a screenshot but I figured people would think I was using hax

Bugged BF2? Damn, you better believe it.

Looks like a temporary bug unless there was some serious team work and coordination from your opponents!

I had a thing worse: i was on ghost town and somebody captured uncap flag!!!LOL!

lmao capping an uncappable flag...

there wer no1 blokking the spawn points, as you can see we have all the flags and ther was 1 guy left in the tv station. but this wasnt just me it was happening to you, almost every1 had it. reseting the server did help tho
