Hmm don't know. Maybe he only made a fuss about it around fellow aussies, didn't feel it necessary/appropriate with you guys. I have heard of diggers not referring to it in the arvo though.

I was going to be in the ANZAC parade at the national war memorial this time 'cause, you know, since last ANZAC Day I've uh, joined the army. Still, I was overseas when they were sending out the warning orders so I declined. Will do it next year.
