I don't think it'll be anyone with superpowers of sorts, or someone completely ridiculous and cheesy.

Chris Nolan has stated that he's making these as close to realism as possible (maybe they're not totally realistic, but you could believe what's going on and it's not all too far a stretch for the imagination).

But then again, is Chris Nolan for sure making the next one? Because I'm not seeing it if he isn't.

Read the IMDB article in the OP - Chris Nolan is making it.

I think the Riddler is really the only Batman villain that should be believable as the next bad guy.

- Bane
- Firefly
- Harley Quinn (I suppose this would make sense now that Joker is locked up)
- Mad Hatter
- Penguin (not terribly interesting, though)
- Poison Ivy (anything's better than Uma Therman's performance)
- Ra's Al Ghul (could have been such an awesome bad guy if he wasn't already in the first movie)
- The Riddler (I hope the movie poster is correct!)
