you're interested in photography but you're un-creative .......... well ever tried taking photos of women .................................... without them knowing it

I've been doing it for years and its a excellent hobbie ................ climbing up in trees and taking them when they're in backyard sunbathing in the nude, or hiding right next to the bathroom window and capturing that moment when they just get of the shower

theres usually a legal problem with it if they catch you but I've found if you just talk to the cop and showcase some of your handy work ... then hand him an application to join into this little hobby club, they usually forgive and forget

Go chop down a tree and use the wood in your fireplace. If you don't have a fireplace, go get the materials to build one so you can burn the wood you just acquired.

^ i feel the same way about cycling. you feel the burn for the first week or two, but after you settle into your own pace/rhythm, all is good. sunny day, mp3 player, bottle of water and some fruit... cycle to a quiet spot. TAKE A BOOK. combine two hobbies at once and you're away. i love doing that once every few weeks, normally when im at home and have the advantage of some of the most picturesque countryside. real chillout. great to destress.

I wondered about you tbh. No offense but I did not think you to be the athletic type. Good to know .

btw, sometimes I'll listen to audio books when I run. I fuckin completely forget I'm running and end up "where the fuck am I" ..lul

well, suffice to say, my health has not been great lately. nor my physical fitness. goes without saying... drugs.

but i hope you didn't have the impression i was some cellar-dwelling nerd type! have always been very physically active and outgoing. grew up with the usual selection of team-sports, mainly football, some rugby with my school, too. downhill MTB'd for several years as a major, every-day hobby... loved it. got into rollerblading when the 'extreme sports' fad came around, stuck with it longer than anyone else, had some good experiences and took part in some pretty high-level competitions. ran cross-country for a 2-year period for my county, also. had tennis coaching for a year and took part in some tournaments. i've dabbled a lot. cannot lie: books and mental prowess interest me more than physical meat'n'muscle. but i'd loathe being a non-active / non socially outgoing person. im from the breed of arrogant self-sure cool-kids that you get in school, making everyone else feel inferior. it's an attitudinal byproduct of the english public school system. it breeds alpha male cocks.

Does anyone here snowboard and skateboard?  If so, is skateboarding sort of like snowboarding?

I think I've had a Partagas before, although I've no idea which specific one. My favourite so far has to be the Cohiba Siglo VI, so incredibly tasty. Stupidly expensive though, so reserved for birthdays, weddings and New Years.

I just never came across any of your post that said anything .. er athletic.

I was a soccer player. I played for my state team. In my teens I traveled to Germany and South America to play. Did surprising well for a bunch of American kids.

Fun fact; I am damaged for life. In one of Germany's biggest youth tournaments I sailed the ball over the goal on a PK. It cost us the game and the tourney. Later on I hooked up with some Italian girl who was living in Germany . Rumors were floated.

.. and now I've gone completely off subject. Carry on.

snowboarding is like skateboarding as skateboarding is like surfing and rollerblading is like ski-ing.

i.e. not really much at all. the stances are the same but the balance, ride and feel are totally different.

if you're wanting an extreme sport as a hobby... i nominate my domain

play safe

edit: yeah, kmar... i dont really take part in the sporting/exercise threads because it's not my domain of interest anymore. i take care of myself. if only for vanity and the demands of womanizing's sake. i don't come here to discuss it. im not inclined to read any of those threads at all because it's not my concern. i guess that explain that omissions as best as i can.

Is snowboarding really a feasible "hobby" for someone living in Illinois?

Go boogeyboarding on the country club's golf course at night after they've run the sprinklers.

You'll get to learn the course really well and will be able to impress all your friends and all the 70yo's there.
