WHAT THE FUCK!

This is pissing me off so much. Whenever I join a server I get connection problems and get disconnected before I can play. I have already re-installed my game and restarted my computer but it still happens.

I don't think its my internet connection becuase it is working fine, but maybe my computer or programs on my computer???

I've been playing BF2 for months now and this has just started happening. HEEELLLPPPP!!!!

www.housecall.com    do a virus scan.    I had 3 trojans in my system that pandasoft didn't find.   Some of my squad mates had this problem and it seemed to work.

Ok thanks boris i tried that and joined the bad server but still lost my connection. I joined another server and lost my connection.

Anyone recommend anything?

Any other good free virus scanners besides Spybot?

when you say lost connection. do me a small fav bro

right click your Bf2 icon go to proparties Look for line where it ses target

u should see sumthing like this

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1"

change full screen to 0 or if its 0 change it to one This should load up BF2 in half screen Join server when you crash it will give you error message take a screen shot and Put it here so I can see whats the problem is ?

to start off spy bot is not a virus scanner primarily its a Spyware scanner

you cant get a free version of AVguard (which is gamer friendly)

Boris I tried your advice but when I crashed in half screen I couldn't take a screenshot but ended up with two errow messages that read:

"Your connection to the server has been lost"

"You have failed to connect. Please check your network connections and try again"

Im scanning for viruses right now too.

Maybe it is your virus scanner. Put bf2.exe to the savelist. I had the same thing to but after that it works perfect! ( or just turn off your virus scanner )

TRY THIS

I HAVE FIXED MY BF2 BY

Downloaded the latest nVidia nForce4 Drivers (DO NOT INSTALL YET)
Uninstalled the nVidia Network Access Manager and Firewall (through "Add Remove Programs" in settings console)
Rebooted Machine
Uninstalled all nVidia drivers (through "Add Remove Programs" in settings console)
Rebooted Machine
Disabled firewall and anti-virus software
Installed the new nForce drivers (I did not install the Firewall/Network Access Management)
Rebooted
Played BF2 for hrs SWEET...............................

good luck guys!

oh i forgot

! more thing that I did want updated PUNKBUSTER

look for this file pbsetup.exe -run it follow instructions it will update punkbuster server stuff

happy now.........................
