Twitter is good for following things, but for the average person in terms of twitting their own lives I don't see the point. Nobody cares what I had for breakfast.
posting about shit in ee chats is better than someone like me using twitter (but not this Suck Man may chats)

I think the argument about Twitter being pointless because "no one wants to know what you had for breakfast" is a bit silly, seeing as many of the same people that argue this point announce the same sorts of things as Facebook status updates.
I do, however, think that Twitter is a pretty pointless. In terms of sharing information, news, fun stuff, photos, videos, etc with my friends: Facebook is far superior. Facebook is even superior for following bands/artists/famous people/etc.
