That's my problem with TF2. I was late getting into it because I was busy with Portal and HL2, and at that point they had already done some weird shit. Played a little here and there but just couldn't get into it. And of course, as time goes on, more and more things change, and just reading all these changes and updates makes me think only the people who play it consistently (every night, all week) will know what's going on.

As a kid I drank milk all the time, had it with nearly every meal. But for the past 10 or so years I haven't drank it as often, nor do I eat cereal with milk in the morning as much as I did as a kid. Nowadays, having a bowl of ice cream, or a glass of milk, can give me a stomach ache and lots of gas (or even diarrhea). Had a glass of milk tonight and I can't stop farting, and these smell terrible, they're extra thick and as warm as a jacuzzi.

Think it might be because it's 1% (also have problems with 2%). When I drank milk, it was ALWAYS 0% fat-free. I can barely tolerate 1%, and 2% I don't like at all. Say what you will, and call it watered-down all you want, but fat-free is THE BOMB.

to be honest i left the pub scene for the better part of a year and just skipped all the 'overhauls' they did

im up to scratch on all of it now in ~2 days play.

at its core it is a fantastically balanced game - maybe the best, ever. and ive played a lotta games at high level. it was superb upon launch.

they've added lots of gimmicky shit to extend its lifespan to your average ADHD-suffering consumer, but it's still a diamond, beneath the rough.

incredibly simple, too. reinstall it and come on teamspeak with my, lucien and whoever else is playing. you'll be enjoying it in nooo time.

Yeah i also missed the boat with TF2, that in itself made me avoid playing it. Like i said to Uzique last night, i tried playing but i'm just confused by everything and the tactical principles of the game elude me.

tbh one of the best team-games ever made. tactics and teamwork are stellar in this game. perhaps even better than in TFC.

Pretty much the only tactics I used when I played was one of the following:

1) Go medic and follow heavies
2) Go heavy and make a suicidal run ...
3) Go engineer and sit in the back building shit
