Noticed that CCleaner reads my Vid Card as an ATI 1950 pro which I haven't had in a year or so. I've had an ATI 4850 in the old XPS3 for atleast a year now. Unistalled CCleaner and DL newest version. Still reads 1950 pro . Not that it really matters but anyone have an idea why?

Try running Driver Sweeper to remove any old driver fragments as well.

Just on the topic, what's people's recommended use of CCleaner? I get a little nervous I might be removing something I shouldn't. Is it fine to just analyse and run?

Ah sweet. It seems to be a pretty powerful program hence my trepidation.

if ur too afraid you can always backup the registry how it is before doing all the fixes. should pop up each time before you do it, just dont ask how to restore it cuz ive never backed it up
