i just got a joystick but i dont know how to set it up. ive gone to options>controls>airplane but i cant set the pitch up/down and the rudder. i need help plz

...im still confused it didnt answer my question. when i set up controls, do I turn the joystick the way i want it to? or...im confused......
Setup the axis as you see in the screenshot. Once you have the correct axis aligned, if the game doesn't turn in the correct direction, then just turn the joystick opposite in the control setup and that will fix it. Should take you 5mins / 2 trys to get all the axis right.
