Kick Ass - 9.5/10

Absolutely loved it, went in with high expectations and it exceeded them.  Really funny and had some pretty cool fight scenes.  Plus that chick was (not the 11 year old pedos )  Only thing that took away from it was Nick Cage was really annoying

i found iron man on my music hard-drive last night... must have backed it up with my other torrent files on accident

8/10, pretty decent, definitely one of my favourite 'comic/superhero' films. the majority of them are so droll. actually made me want to see the sequel!

something about gwyneth paltrow in it, as well... she's utterly unspectacular in every other film ive seen, but in iron man she is fiyah. i just wanna get naked and rub myself over her for hours and hours.

The Men Who Stare At Goats - 7/10.

An amusing film but it didn't really go anywhere and didn't end the way i expected, i might have fallen asleep tho cos it seemed to be about half hour too short??

Good plot, well acted and filmed, seeing perverts die is always good.

Pity, I much prefer the cinema, you lose so much on a small screen.

How to Train Your Dragon -2D

6/10 ok to watch some what similar to A Bug's Life except there are dragons and vikings. If you grew up with a strain relationship with your father, you will be balling your eyes out by the end of the movie.

How to Train Your Dragon -3d

The human relationships are a bit cliché, but that's only to be expected from family fare. It blends well and the movie does not suffer from it. The meat of the feature, the dragons, are of such a stunning variety that I thought I was watching Xanth (Piers Anthony) the movie. It's a feel-good film, but not grotesquely so. Nobody gets out unscathed in this story.

The 3d didn't really add much to the feature except during the flight spectacles. It's worth seeing either/or.

9/10

Not sure how you think it rates a bottom D, since you never told us what was wrong with it. 60%'s should be reserved for top-end terrible movies.

Guys, don't let this dismal rating affect your decision to watch this movie.

From rottentomatoes:
tmeter - 98%

6 is an average rating in my book; 5 is below avg. What you may think it was a bit cliché, I thought it was very cliché.
I rolled with it though and the movie kept my attention better than Avatar. Did I like it better than some of the other movies I saw this year....NO
I give the movie credit for adding a minor twist to the ending. It was a bittersweet victory but the boy and his dragon have something in common

(40% of) Bladerunner - 19/10.

I didn't get to watch all of the film cos the woman came home and she puts me off watching films if she sits there tapping away on her iPhone or laptop. I shall resume at the weekend. Of course i've seen this film maybe ten times since i first saw it round my uncles's house in like 1989 (iirc).

just got back from a midnight showing with my friend of Iron Man 2. Very good, but didn't have that "THAT WAS FUCKING AWESOME" feeling that the first one had. A lot of Avengers tie-ins though. Can't wait

I give it an 8.5/10. The final battle with Whiplash was VERY anticlimactic.

Also, Super 8 and Inception trailers
