if i had said "his victory acceptance speech was good", to which you reply: "his resignation speech you mean" - ding ding! damn, troll'd.
when i say "his goodbye speech was good", to which you reply: "his resignation speech you mean! guffaw guffaw haw haw".
IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE BECAUSE IM ALREADY ACKNOWLEDGING THAT PART.
p.s. i voted conservative because i have always had a conservative ideology, understand all of their policies, and understand the current crisis we are in. you fail on almost all of those markers. what a shit toff you are.
yeah, despite what you're saying about Cameron, he could ultimately be viewed in the same way as Thatcher. If you look at the sacrifices and cuts he's going to have to make, people are going to fucking hate him for generations to come. Not fair really.Uzique wrote:
nah thatcherism is a dead conservative ideology. they ain't got the balls for that style. thatcher was basically the biggest shake-up and u-turn in UK government since cromwell. that won't happen again. cameron has sold himself as quite the opposite, trying to 'rebrand' the conservative party and turn away from that old-fashioned, middle-upper class toff stuff. despite being the biggest one himself. now he's down with the kids, yo, and represents the normal person. i don't think that facade will last long.
and no eleven, it isn't decided yet. chances are there could still be a hung parliament. even if labour edge over and win by a small minority (which is looking more and more unlikely)- they could theoretically arrange a coalition (brown and clegg, labour and lib dem) before the queen's appointment at 1pm tomorrow and keep the conservative blues under. the conservatives need a decent win. which, if the exit polls and current data is anything to go by... he may well get. they lost quite a few of their target, listed areas though- which is discouraging.
