Personally heres what I would do:
1: Basic desktop PC setup and Component Identification. (nothing TOO intensive) But something along the lines of showing them teh major components and what they do
2: Basic Operating System Tools and Navigation. Assuming you'll be using Windows, so show them how the start menu works, the shortcuts on the start menu, the programs directory, and the accessories directory. This will also include explanations of the My Documents Libraries (vids and pics sub directories)
3. Introduction to Internet Browsers: Explain to them the basic function of the browser, most likely IE8. Show them the difference between the URL/Address bar and the SEARCH bars.
4. Introduction to Webmail. Here you can show them how to create and use a browser based webmail client such as gmail. Show them how to properly send mail, check their inbox, delete messages, forward messages, create contacts etc.

That was better than expected. I just asked them what they would like to do. One of them mentioned PayPal, so I just went over paypal with them. Next week: eBay!
