I'm assuming ur in the UK so it's going to be an old ish MX5 (well used ones come in at about 1k+ now), it'll need work on it, but, tbh it's still the best roadster ever, bar none, so whatever it costs in the few years you own it, it'll be worth it.
lol silly limeys with their crappy weather

And what´s with the spitting and sclicing? Never witnessed or heard something like that in Germany/Austria. Must be an England thing
I was about to get a Chrysler LeBaron before I started to study and got poor. Rather cheap for a convertible, but I dunno about the possible insurance costs.

They really are good, specially for the price... Why do you think they are so crazy popular for amateur racers? Hell, they even have their own national spec series here is America.Reciprocity wrote:

Plus, Mazda gives parts discounts to anyone who races theirs...
Just hire one if it's for that.rammunition wrote:

I think a Reliant Scimitar SS1/SST would be a great car for you. Post 1986 models have a galvanised chassis and the body is fibreglass, and hey they are over 20 years old so eligible for cheap classic car insurance .
Reliant did 1.3, 1.6, 1.4 Ford engine and a 1.8 Nissan I4 Turbo engine. (The turbo model being VERY quick as it is a 840kg car lol. My only point would be is I think they only have 2 seats. Hard tops can be sourced for winter also.
They are not for everyone, some people love 'em some people hate 'em (looks wise). You could probably source a nice one for £1500 - £2000 depending on engine model, year mileage etc.
A great load of fun for little cost.
You're laughing.

Getting a convertible to impress women is like getting implants for your cock, just more socially accepted (and obvious).
Have you even thought about insurance? A quick search on that Saab you linke comes up between £3,800 and £14k p/a...
Have you thought about cyan? Not the most masculine of font colours.
I thought about it, and decided I preferred turquoise.
As for you not thinking that it's masculine enough? Meh, I've cared more about stuff a lot less important.

You better be buying a convertible for your girlfriend... and never ever go in it
I've already got a convertible.

Who's your boy toy.
he is the boy toy.
Made a decision yet Rammunition?
If you get a convertible which is £1500, it will be a leaking rust bucket that a $10 hooker wouldn't be seen in.
That guy wearing a skirt?
get a hyundai genesis coupe 3.8L track edition
Get a Haflinger!
Great vehicle mostly used by the Austrian army, and it's even a convertible with cloth roof.
