I've been wanting a new airsoft gun. AEG. I know Tokyo Marui and Classic Army are good choices, but beyond that not much. I have a UTG MP5 spring which I'll probably just let friends use.
dont really have a budget but for now I'll ask for things <400 including batteries, chargers, upgrades, etc..

I would prefer paintball but you need more protection. Not to mention the guns don't look like real ones, and don't shoot as far (in my experience).

Without proper clothing paintball will leave some very nasty damage to your skin. I like having the guns look real.

I've never been into paintball that much, but the image I have is of a course with inflated obstacles and people jumping all over the place. I prefer a nice long airsoft battle that lasts a while without anybody getting hit. So fun having both teams stuck in a huge airsoft spam fest with 300 round magazines trying to get fire superiority.

And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.

If you want to move anywhere without getting hit, you want the enemy team to get their heads down. To do that you need to shoot at them, and until somebody has bb superiority it's a freaking stalemate.

Actually airsoft is all about covering fire.

any ways yeah JG are good guns.
I still use my JG M4A1 that i bought in san marino a year ago, it still works great.
Reinforced gears and upgraded batteries with a full metal RIS system.
Works great and they are pretty cheap.

Nope, haven't been much involved with paintball in the last year or so. Mostly due to money problems.
..and now my local field's owner is charging me the field fee for taking pictures.

Right now I just own an A5 (MP5 stock, JJ barrel (12 inch I think), NcStar reddot), a VSC stock-class Phantom, and a broken Lighting 'cocker.

to bad about the field fee. I was thinking of getting another A5, and making it as small and light as possible. You can find them pretty cheap on craigslist sometimes.

Never liked any of the stocks I had, will prob leave it out of my next marker.

My only problem with stocks is the fact that you can't sight down your marker with full-mask on.

I plan on getting another Proflex bottom when I get money, and cut off half of it, so I can still sight down my marker, while keeping the other half of my face covered with the mask.

Btw, what field do you usually play at?

The one up in Whistler, but the guy who manages it now is a big douchebag... so I stopped playing. Living in Squamish now and there are a few active fields up here, so I want to get back into it. Thats the same thing I dont like about stocks, also I feel like I move slower when I try to use it.

Airsoft "all about covering fire"...please!

Learn the art of semi (or short, controlled bursts). M120 spring + 450mm tightbore barrel.
I've seen players empty 200+ bbs trying to take out 1 or 2 people. Sometimes it actually worked...
I've also seen players turn and make single shots, at distance. That was impressive. (...and sucked being on the receiving end, when they peg you in the center of your goggles from max effective range!)
