What's this about?

Pedigree's launched the Adoption Drive campaign to raise awareness for abandoned & stray dogs in the UK. As part of the campaign, it's commited to donate £1 to the PetPlan Charitable Trust for every view of stray dog Charlie's video on youtube.

How to donate for free...

To have £1 donated to the trust, simply go to the special youtube page and play the video. £1 will automatically be donated on your behalf, and Pedigree will donate up to £100,000. So far the video has had just over 50,000 views so it's half-way there.

Why's Pedigree doing this?

There are 1,000s of abandoned & stray dogs in the UK and charities like the PetPlan Charitable Trust need donations to take them in and care for them. Pedigree's decided to help encourage donations by viewer interaction.

When does it end?

Once the video has been viewed 100,000 times, Pedigree will have reached its target of £100,000 worth of donations. So 50,000 more to go!

hey, tbh, I agree with human > animal, but some people can only help/work for an animal charity of a daily basis, a human charity might be too depressing, or they might have to do things which they like to do less.

When it comes to people working for charities, you can't be critical (unless you work a similar commitment for a human charity)

Below Animal charities are historical site preservation charities, though.
