Oh shit.. told. Whatever, you seem to have to take personal offense every time someone even hints that they aren't interested in Macs. I should care if you used one recently why?
Hahaha Vista. Almost as bad as someone running XP.
hahaha pointless elitism, yet again
i currently have about 600gb of media that i dont have time/space to back-up. im sticking with vista. why? cause it works fine
"amagawd but look here's 5 websites, 3 blogs, 16 bar-charts and a poll to show that 7 > vista"
yes, i know
but im not a 17 year old pointlessly in love with tech elitism and 'one upping' everyone. if i NEEDED 7, trust me, i'd install it
p.s. every single post you have made in this thread thus far has been full of your new-found arrogance. stop being a cunt.

Agreed. I've used Vista, XP and 7 all at one point on my computers. Vista and 7 are leaps and bounds ahead of XP, but the difference between 7 and Vista isnt significant enough for you to go out of your way to install. If I had a good reason to install a new OS, I'd do it. But there's just not enough reason for you to do so if you're on Vista.Uzique wrote:

So let me get this straight. You buy an over-priced, under-spec'ed machine, and then take off the only feature that actually makes them sell, just to run Windows?steelie34 wrote:
guess what? now you know one person! i prefer to run windows on a mac
Why not just buy a Windows machine?

While you often are wrong, Finny, this takes the price. If you disable all the services in Vista that aren't active in 7, you pretty much end up with the same OS. If you're still going at it, it just proves that you used XP while the rest of the world were using Vista.Finray wrote:

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

I must actually agree with Uzique on this matter.

It's funny how all the Vista-fags always jumped up to defend it when people say it was bad, just because they thought they were cool to run the newest O/S, or maybe it was because they thought they were leet to make it run as fast as XP (which...it doesn't...ever).Freezer7Pro wrote:

But then Windows 7 comes out, and all the Vista-fags still defend Vista. Why? Windows 7 is what Vista should have been...Vista was fail.
And yes, I did all the super leet Vista tweaks to disable services and bloatware and boost performance, but it still ran slower than XP, and still runs slower than my Win7 which I haven't touched.
