they'll review my circumstances surrounding why i didnt sit the exams/submit the essays on time, and if they deem it worthy of exception, i'll be able to sit the exams later and continue on to my 3rd year, anyway. so im just super-burning on these essays and putting everything ive got into them, so i can at least make a good case for being allowed to pass on up

well, just stayed relaxed if you're going to argue and don't let him worm his way out of it. he clearly has a problem, he needs to address it.
